Tree of Life Landscapes will host a showing of the documentary film, Five Seasons: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf. The film is an exploration of the gardens and approach of contemporary Dutch landscape designer Piet Oudolf, who is best known for his work on the High Line in New York City as well as at Millennium Park in Chicago.

Intimacy by Design: Exploring the Relationship of Plants and People

Tree of Life Landscapes will host the second annual Create Beauty Conference with author, designer and plantsman, Roy Diblik, at the Longmont Museum. Diblik owns Northwind Perennial Farm and is known for his design work at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Shed Aquarium and his partnership with Piet Oudolf on the Lurie Gardens at Millennium Park in Chicago. Diblik will speak on the intimate relationships between plants, design, and people as well as discuss his own design process. Kevin Williams of the Denver Botanic Gardens will also speak on creating seed mix matrix plantings. Williams will share from his experience on his own seeded matrix project at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
