Principals of the award winning Philadelphia based design firm, Hans Hesselein and Martha Keen have been at the center of conversations around regenerative landscape and sustainable construction. Hans and Martha are deeply committed to creating gardens that support the earth, wildlife and people in balance, especially in an urban context. Many of their projects involve the reuse of materials that would otherwise be sent to the landfill, resulting in beautiful gardens via their high standard of craftsmanship. Balanced with a focus on appropriate plants, their gardens are strikingly beautiful, naturally inspired, and ingeniously executed.
Returning horticulturalist Kevin Williams will be joined by coauthor Michael Guidi following the recent releasae of their new book “Shrouded in Light: Naturalistic Planting Inspired by Wild Shrublands”. Named a once in a decade revolutionary book by plant superstar Noel Kingsbury, Kevin and Michael explore the intersection of naturalist design, contemporary art and psychology.
